Do you sometimes visit the store next to the shelves of different types of oil and do not know what to choose? You tried something new but you’re not sure what would suit you? Different oils have different properties according to which they are used in dishes. For roasting and roasting, oils of neutral taste are recommended, while the best flavors are recommended for cooking or salads. Except for the aroma, it is good to recognize the oils and the temperature of the smokescreen. This is the moment in which the oil begins to evaporate and its flavors are destroyed. Sunflower oil
Very versatile oil which, due to its neutral taste and high point of smoking, is a healthier alternative to traditional vegetable oils. Sunflower oil does not contain saturated fats, which means it can lower the cholesterol level in the body. Its use in moderate amounts helps prevent atherosclerosis, and as vitamin E is associated with heart disease prevention, enhancing the immune system as well as skin health. It is best to cook and fry and salad, especially if it is unrefined. It can also be used for frying, but it is never recommended long-lasting roasting in the same oil. Keep it in a cool and dark place.

Olive oil
A favorite tenant of most Croatian cuisine due to its specific taste and scent and health benefits. It is also important to distinguish between extra virgin olive oil because because of its different smoking points these oils are not suitable for the same application. Usually the olive is ideal for cooking and baking, and can also be used for frying, while the extra virgin is best preserved for salads and meal preparation. Hold olive oil away from sources of light and heat so as not to oxidize and lose flavor.

Pumpkin oil
In addition to the northwest of Croatia, bucky oil is extremely popular in Eastern Slovenia, parts of Romania, Serbia and Hungary, and of course in Austria. There are many health benefits of preventing heart and prostate disease, alleviating menopausal symptoms, and promoting hair growth, especially in men. In the kitchen it is not recommended to use it for cooking but is most suitable for finishing dishes such as creamy soups, in salads where it best matches with apple juice and can be used in desserts too: vanilla ice cream with oil spill will detect you a whole new dimension of taste!

Coconut oil
Coconut oil is at room temperature in a solid state, so it is not very suitable for salads or finishes, nor for storage in a refrigerator. But it’s great for stewing and baking at moderate temperatures, especially as a substitute for butter or margarine in cakes. Coconut oil contains a large number of saturated fatty acids, but there are numerous advantages. Research has shown that virgin cold-pressed coconut oil reduces cholesterol, helps with weight loss, acts as antibacterial, and can also be used for cosmetic skin and hair care.
